In support of the Director-General’s proposal on New Humanism, the “Ode to New Humanism” concert will debut at UNESCO on 21 September 2013 on the occasion of the International Day of Peace. Shenzhen Orchestra and Choir under the baton of Maestro Zhang Guyang (from Shanghahi) will delight the audience. Some 134 members of the Choir along with 80 members of the Orchestra will present a magnificant and grand composition in five segements. The Poetry is that of Wang Jinsheng and the composer Wang Ning has brought this poetic music to life.
